About Mugep
Our newly established MUGEP Business People Association in our district was founded in 2024, when the idea of unity among 2-3 founding members quickly turned into a vision of collaboration and thus synergy in all matters. With the swift consultation among these individuals, and with the warm approach and support especially from the people of Mustafakemalpaşa, political and administrative leaders, and the appreciation of businesspeople with significant success and struggle stories, the number of members quickly grew to 8-9, and by the time the decision to officially establish the association was made, it had reached 18-19. The application for establishment was submitted on September 14, 2024, coinciding with our district's 14 September Festival, when the number of founding members had reached 29. Under the founding presidency of Nasuh Ayşar, MUGEP was established with Founding Board Members Mehmet Çalışkan, Ahmet Faruk Bakkal, Serhat Öztenekeci, Semih Koyuncu, Ercan Akar, Vahdettin Sevim, and a total of 29 founding members.
Our association set out with the aim of contributing to the development of Mustafakemalpaşa through cooperation, creating synergy, and embracing the idea of unity, solidarity, and collective wisdom. We aim to bring together all layers of our district and implement projects and practices that support joint action. After consultations with our founding members and advisor, the name of our association was decided as (MuGeP) Mustafakemalpaşa Development Project Business People Association. The short name is MUGEP.
Our association held its first General Assembly on 18.02.2025 at the MUGEP center. After long-standing consultations and our determination in Mustafakemalpaşa, MUGEP, which was established on September 14, 2024, to contribute to the district's economic development and to create a strong business network, held its first official elective general assembly. During the general assembly, which was attended by prominent representatives of the local business world, the association’s new board of directors was elected and strategic goals for the upcoming term were discussed.
MUGEP Business People Association aims to advance our district’s strengths in agriculture, livestock, furniture, automotive, machinery, and other key industrial sectors. It will continue its efforts to increase investment opportunities, support the entrepreneurial ecosystem, and strengthen cooperation among businesspeople to develop joint projects and make our district a more attractive economic center. Speaking at the General Assembly, our Founding President Nasuh Ayşar summarized the association’s purpose and goals as follows: “We established this association to best utilize the potential of our district, create new investment opportunities, and build a shared synergy within the business community. Our goal is not only to support commercial activities but also to develop a business model driven by social responsibility.”
As MUGEP, we have come together with businesspeople from different sectors who have experience and success stories in their respective fields, to combine our workforce and produce joint projects for the development of our district and region. In the general assembly held last month, we determined our new management, finalized our charter and roadmap. While laying the foundations of our association, we prioritized a culture of consultation, deliberation, and collective wisdom. In determining the paths to be followed for our district's development, we took guidance from experience and scientific data, and adopted the principle of progressing towards the right goals with the support of institutions in our country that have deep-rooted knowledge in these fields.
Our aim is to contribute to the economic and social development of Mustafakemalpaşa, bring the business world together, build a stronger economic structure, develop joint projects, and carry forward the values born from these lands. In unity and solidarity, through a culture of consultation and collective wisdom, we will work together for our district. As MUGEP, we are united as a pioneering association around an idea, a vision, and a goal. In this direction, we want to work with everyone who has a development project for Mustafakemalpaşa, and we invite everyone to collaborate on these goals. As emphasized in our emblem, we are building a structure where we hold each other's hands, move together, support one another, sit at the same table to solve problems, and embrace collective wisdom. The main purpose of coming together is exactly this: to unite for our shared future.
Together with our new board members, MUGEP plans to implement various activities in the upcoming period, such as training programs, investment support mechanisms, and regional development projects.
