Within the scope of the Fair and Festival Commission initiatives aimed at bringing a permanent fair and festival organization to Mustafakemalpaşa, the Mustafakemalpaşa Development Platform (MUGEP) paid visits this week to the district branches of political parties represented in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
During the visits, meetings were held with AK Party District Chairman Mutlu Turgut, CHP District Chairman Gökhan Demir, MHP District Chairman Suat Buldu, and İYİ Party District Chairman Adnan Akın, where mutual evaluations were made. The meetings were attended by MUGEP Chairman Vahdettin Sevim along with members of the MUGEP Board of Directors. The district chairmen and their party executives personally hosted the visits.
In the meetings, a consensus was reached that a fair and festival organization designed to strengthen Mustafakemalpaşa’s social, cultural, and economic potential would provide significant contributions to the district. The district chairmen stated that they support MUGEP’s approach based on unity, solidarity, and common sense, emphasizing that this vision is highly valuable for the future of the district.
It was also mutually expressed that the commission structure should be inclusive yet efficient in size, progress with a sustainable working model, and be implemented with a target year of 2026.
MUGEP officials expressed their satisfaction with the constructive suggestions, open-minded approaches, and strong support shown by the political party representatives for the development of the district. MUGEP emphasized that its main objective is to implement value-adding projects by acting together with all stakeholders of Mustafakemalpaşa and by using common sense as the strongest foundation.
At the end of the visits, MUGEP extended its gratitude to all district chairmen for their hospitality, constructive contributions, and support for the future of Mustafakemalpaşa.
MUGEP stated that it will continue its efforts with determination to establish a permanent fair and festival organization, strengthen social unity, and contribute to the district’s development process.
